Biography
Andy Newberry is the Assistant Sports Editor for the Wichita Falls Times Record News. Andy wears many hats. He is responsible for city football, basketball, soccer and tennis coverage. In addition, his columns appear here weekly in the Times Record News. Newberry has been a part of our staff since late February of 1991. He attended Bible Baptist Christian School and also attented Midwestern State University. Andy and his wife, Jamie, have a daughter, Andi Nicole. Andy also counts two brothers and one sister among his loved ones. He enjoys basketball, fantasy baseball, talk radio and disc golf. Some of his favorite athletes are Joe Montana, Tony Gwynn, Paul Molitor, Steffi Graf and Rolando Blackman.
