Dear Readers:The news has been filled with so many noteworthy items lately that I thought I would perform a public service and hit some of the highlights for you.

The plight of Chen Guangcheng, the blind Chinese activist, gravely concerns me. He and his family may be in serious danger after he left the U.S. embassy in Beijing this week.

Dear Mark: I just read that President Obama's Labor Department is proposing new rules prohibiting children from performing certain farm chores even on their own family's farm.

Dear Mark: What is going on with our president? This week, he basically "disrobed" the Supreme Court and insulted them by calling them "unelected" in a demeaning manner in reference to his health care law.

With the decision as to the constitutionality of Obamacare now in the hands of the Supreme Court, the issue of fairness once again arises. Liberals whine that life is not fair because some people have health insurance while others don't.

Dear Readers:As most of you know, our language continuously evolves due to new technologies, global phenomena, fads and slang terms that become mainstream.

Dear Mark: The president's prized legislation, Obamacare, is now estimated to cost $1.76 trillion over the next 10 years according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

Dear Mark: Just when a true conservative is gaining traction, Rick Santorum has all this "Satan" talk hitting the headlines.

Dear Mark: It seems the kerfuffle over the "free contraception" portion of Obamacare hasn't died down even after the president's people declared it over.

Dear Mark: I know you receive a lot of emails furious with the Obama administration, but I think I'm the most upset.

Dear Mark: Mitt Romney won the Florida primary in a landslide over Newt Gingrich.
