Just look at all these criminals running around and not even a slap on the wrist. These are all significant crimes. Many times it looks like to me the law is on the side of the criminals. Somebody please explain.

They're not criminals, according to the Constitution, which says innocent until proven guilty.

JimD writes:

Since this is a no bill list which means that the District Attorney office refuse to prosecute.

Due to lack of evidence or for whatever reasons they should be called Citizens of Wichita County.

wofum1947 writes:

It's not so much that the DA's office refused to prosecute, but that the DA's office recommended non-prosecution for whatever reasons as JimD stated. The Grand Jury could have indicted them if they wanted to. The Grand Jury can also refuse to issue an indictment in a case that the DA's office wants to prosecute. Until or unless someone has served on the Grand Jury, they have no idea of what all goes into indictments and/or no-bills.

JimD writes:

Wofum in general the DA make a recommendation and the Grand Jury rubber stamps what the DA want.

Wofum you been around here long enough to know how the Grand Jury works in this town. No one is going to buck the DA's recommendation.
