BURLESON — The magical season for the Jacksboro Tigers continues after a 28-13 victory over the Blooming Grove Lions here Friday night.
Jacksboro (9-2) exploded in the second quarter to take a 21-0 lead into the half. Nathan Zapata scored on a 53-yard run and a 22-yard pass from Kirk Weldon. Reid Spiller added a 2-yard run.
The Lions put up 13 unanswered points in the third and fourth quarters before Spiller put the game out of reach with a 60-yard run in the final stanza.
Jacksboro will travel to McKinney Friday to face Clarksville at 7:30 p.m.
