The Rider Raiders, Class 4A state semifinalists, had five players selected to the 2012 Class 4A All-State football team released on Wednesday.
All five Raiders — two on offense and three on defense — were honorable mention selections.
Making the all-state team on offense were senior lineman Harrison Sorge and junior lineman Mason McGinty.
On defense, senior Cody Ribble was selected on the defensive line; senior D.J. Arnold was a selection at defensive back; and junior Bradley Goldstein made the team at linebacker.
Senior running back Ke'aun Kinner of Little Elm was the Offensive Player of the Year, while senior defensive lineman Daeshon Hall of Lancaster was the Defensive Player of the Year.
Lancaster eliminated the Raiders 26-19 last Friday night in double overtime.
